Mouse Systems Mouse
So through some creative buying and asking, I finally got a PCjr Mouse Systems optical mouse and mousepad.
It draws power from the light port and connects through the serial port. It's really kind of interesting how well it works for the era is came from.

Motherboard Failure
So I installed a V20, Tandy Mod, and a PC-Sprint on a cherry board I picked up from Computer Reset. It worked for about 10 minutes and crashed after I tried to run Civilization on it. Re: NEC V20 Chip
I think I ordered the wrong V20 chip. There's 5 MHZ, 8, and 10. And I want the 10, correct?

Re: Keyboard problem
It's not an infared issue. It works flawlessly in all the native PCjr and many more of the other apps. I was playing a game that I wanted my daughter to try called Super Solvers: Treasure Mountain. It will run natively on PCjr, and will run TGA with a command line tag of -t. It just won't recognize ...
