I have a new addition to the IBM family of collectables ( wife says junk )... :shock: I have been looking for an IBM5153 monitor, had one new back in the day, but most I am finding are really beat up or $$$ to pricey... so I am rethinking and looking for an alternate CGA display ... I am open to sug...

been looking for the old 'clickety' style keyboard... I bought an IBM5160 and would like to get the Keyboard and as mentioned in the earlier post an IBM5153 Monitor Had these years ago and well.... Saw a couple nice systems on EBAY....kinda pricey. but not bad if you want to get a nice Jr... also a couple good looking monitors.... of course the usual ,, many many joy sticks.... Always wondered what I could use these for a project of some sort... maybe and X/Y table, servos with a 'GRAB' arm to...

Had to reload TP after my directories got scrambled, and saw TP7.01 on WINORLDPC and decided to use it instead of the TP7.0. turns out after loading and running, I was getting an internal error 200, this was a known problem with TP and the CRT.ASM file. So reloaded the TP7.0 and all was fine again.....

I must be on a roll...

Found a copy of SST (startrek), and it also would not run on the Jr...

Loaded Digger, and UGH... not Jr Friendly, TandyMod enabled, but the game does not run... Wondering if there was a Jr version. It worked on my Eagle PC back when.... Update: Read that the 1983 original Digger was released to work on the PCJr in 1984... Looked around for a copy, but no luck... Anyone...

Just installed the FM35 files and so far is is a nice two window file manager..

I ZIPPED up a group of files and it worked well... Uses PKZip.

Kinda slow, but it looks like it has a number of features so should be well rounded...

Will have to use it more but it looks promising..

Got the system back up with the JRIDE and a new Samsung Drive... Clean format, installed TurboPascal 7, that was a task.... TP7.0 works good.. TP7.01 has an issue with the CRT.ASM file (These are downloaded from winworldpc.com ) and thru an INTERNAL ERROR 200 at start up... there is supposedly a fi...

I do have smartdrv enabled .... I think will have to ck tonight....but this is good info...
and I do sometimes turn off quickly...
ie...
save files in TP7, Exit TP7 , then hit the off switch...
