Recently installed Turbo Pascal 7, works great with the PCSprint board , the extra speed is to compile is nice.
I have noticed that during compile it hits the JRIDE hard drive alot, which surprised me as I thought it would compile in memory'
but then I realized I was using include files that had to be pulled in and compiled, then appreciated the JRIDE even more
knowing how long it would have taken from floppy... ugh...
Also I am re-writing my BBS from the 80's and TP7 uses the mouse and my BBS uses an external Hayes modem.
So now that I have my Serial Card(modemSlot) installed it is nice to have two Serial ports available.
Still have some questions about the card tho...
I can post more about this in the Hardware forum later..

Re: Turbo Pascal 7 installed
I'm heading for Turbo Pascal myself. I just need a few more things in place. TP was a great environment and made learning fast easy. 255-byte strings were its downfall
